Sturdy Home Builders is a family-owned business led by a father–son team, Sam and Stephen Wang. Sam has been a licensed California General Contractor since 1998, and Stephen earned his license in 2024. We are experienced in all aspects of residential construction.

With over 27 years in business, we’re proud of the record and trust we’ve built through long-term relationships and consistent, reliable work. We oversee each project personally, working with a dedicated team of skilled carpenters and a network of trusted subcontractors for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and finish carpentry, including site-finished work completed on location. We take pride in building through best practices, emphasizing details that support long-term performance.

We serve homeowners throughout the Bay Area, including San Francisco, Daly City, San Bruno, South San Francisco, San Mateo, and Burlingame. Much of our work comes from repeat clients and referrals, and references are available upon request.
